HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the dose and duration advised
• Can usually be taken with or without food, but taking with food may reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Complete the full course even if you feel better before finishing it
• Try to take doses at the same time each day for consistent effect

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as scheduled
• Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one
• If you miss multiple doses, inform your doctor

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to cefixime, azithromycin, or any other cephalosporin or macrolide antibiotic
• Have had a severe allergic reaction to penicillin-type antibiotics in the past
• Have severe liver disease, unless advised by a doctor

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have kidney or liver disease
• Have a history of heart rhythm problems (QT prolongation)
• Have a history of severe diarrhea after taking antibiotics
• Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
• Have myasthenia gravis or other muscle weakness conditions
