Cinitapride is mainly used to treat digestive problems caused by slow stomach movement.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief from bloating, fullness, and early satiety
• Treatment of indigestion (dyspepsia)
• Reducing symptoms of acid reflux such as heartburn
• Helping with delayed stomach emptying

HOW IT WORKS

• Increases the movement (motility) of the stomach and intestines
• Helps food pass more quickly through the digestive tract
• Improves coordination of stomach muscle contractions
• Reduces the backward flow of stomach contents into the food pipe

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken before meals
• Swallow the tablet with water
• Do not crush or chew unless advised by your doctor
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember before your next meal
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Do not store in the bathroom or near a sink
