This combination medicine is mainly used for people who have had a heart attack, stroke, or have significant risk of cardiovascular disease due to high cholesterol and clot risk.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Lowering high cholesterol and LDL levels
• Preventing blood clots in patients with heart disease
• Reducing risk of heart attack or stroke in high-risk patients
• Secondary prevention after a cardiovascular event

HOW IT WORKS

• Rosuvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver
• Aspirin thins the blood by preventing platelets from clumping together
• Clopidogrel also prevents platelets from sticking together, reducing clot formation
