This medicine is used to treat cough along with stuffy nose and chest congestion caused by common cold, flu, sinusitis, or upper respiratory tract infections.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of cough with mucus (productive cough)
- Nasal congestion and blocked nose
- Chest congestion due to cold or flu
- Sinus related discomfort with blocked nose
HOW IT WORKS
- Guaifenesin is an expectorant that thins and loosens mucus so it can be coughed out more easily
- Bromhexine breaks down thick mucus, making it easier to clear from the airways
- Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows blood vessels in the nose, reducing swelling and stuffiness
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Dry cough without mucus
- Cough due to asthma or long-term lung disease

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually a few times a day
- Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor says otherwise
- If using the liquid form, use the measuring cup or spoon provided, not a regular kitchen spoon
- Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine to help loosen mucus
- Do not take more than the prescribed amount or for longer than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE
