This combination is commonly used to relieve moderate pain associated with various conditions, along with reducing fever and inflammation.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of body pain, muscle pain, and joint pain
• Pain and swelling after injury, sprain, or minor surgery
• Toothache and post-dental procedure pain
• Menstrual cramps
• Fever with pain, such as in cold or flu
• Pain due to arthritis and other joint disorders

HOW IT WORKS

• Diclofenac blocks enzymes called COX-1 and COX-2, which reduces the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain, swelling, and fever
• Paracetamol acts on the brain's pain and temperature-regulating centres to relieve pain and bring down fever
• Together they give faster and more effective relief than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not meant for long-term daily use without medical supervision
• Not a treatment for the underlying cause of infection, so it will not cure infections
• Not recommended for chronic pain management without doctor guidance
• Not to be used as a preventive medicine for headaches or fever

• Reduced urination or swelling in legs/ankles
• Unusual bleeding or bruising

How to Use DICLONAC-P TABLET (DICLOFENAC 50 MG + PARACETAMOL 500 MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose or for longer than recommended
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it increases the risk of stomach and liver problems
• Drink plenty of water during the course

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

• Keep out of reach and sight of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are in the third trimester of pregnancy
