Calcium Dobesilate Monohydrate is mainly used to treat problems caused by weak or leaky small blood vessels, especially in the eyes and legs.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Diabetic retinopathy (damage to small blood vessels in the eye due to diabetes)
• Chronic venous insufficiency (poor blood flow return from legs, causing swelling, heaviness, pain)
• Varicose vein related discomfort and swelling
• Reducing capillary fragility and abnormal bleeding tendency from small vessels

HOW IT WORKS

• Strengthens the walls of small blood vessels (capillaries)
• Reduces excessive permeability (leakiness) of blood vessels
• Improves blood viscosity and flow through small vessels
• Helps reduce swelling and fluid leakage into surrounding tissue

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used to treat high blood pressure
• Not a treatment for blood clots or deep vein thrombosis
• Not used for general pain relief

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
