Ebastine 10mg is commonly used to treat allergic conditions caused by histamine release in the body.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief from allergic rhinitis symptoms such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and itchy watery eyes
• Treatment of seasonal allergies (hay fever) caused by pollen or dust
• Relief from chronic urticaria (hives) with itching and skin rashes
• Management of other allergic skin conditions as advised by a doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks histamine H1 receptors in the body
• Prevents histamine from causing swelling, itching, and redness
• Provides long-lasting relief with once-daily dosing
• Does not usually cause significant drowsiness compared to older antihistamines

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken once a day, with or without food
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
• If using syrup, use the measuring cup provided for accurate dosing
• Do not increase the dose or take it more often than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
