WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Control of high blood pressure (hypertension)
• Sometimes used to reduce strain on the heart in patients with certain heart conditions, as decided by the doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II, a chemical that tightens blood vessels, helping vessels relax and lowering blood pressure

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
