WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating high blood pressure (hypertension)
• Managing heart failure following a heart attack

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks the hormone aldosterone, which causes salt and water retention
• Helps the body get rid of excess sodium and fluid through urine

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily

• Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
