This combination medicine is mainly used to relieve moderate pain when a single painkiller is not enough.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Muscle pain and muscle spasm
• Back pain and neck pain
• Pain after minor injuries or surgery
• Headache and other short-term painful conditions
• Fever accompanying pain, due to the paracetamol component

HOW IT WORKS

• Flupirtine acts on the central nervous system to reduce pain signals and relax tense muscles
• Paracetamol blocks pain and fever-producing chemicals in the brain
• Together they give combined pain relief with muscle relaxation

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for chronic long-term pain without doctor supervision
• Not a treatment for the underlying cause of pain, such as infection or injury
• Not used for severe or cancer-related pain requiring stronger opioid medicines

How to Use FLUGESIC-P TABLET (FLUPIRTINE 100 MG + PARACETAMOL 325 MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water
• Can be taken with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Do not increase the dose or frequency on your own
• Do not take for longer than advised, as flupirtine requires monitoring of liver function during extended use
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase the risk of liver damage
