WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Post-operative eye inflammation with risk of infection
• Bacterial conjunctivitis with associated inflammation
• Other inflammatory eye conditions where infection risk is present

HOW IT WORKS

• Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that kills or stops the growth of bacteria causing eye infection
• Prednisolone acetate is a corticosteroid that reduces swelling, redness, and inflammation in the eye
• Together they treat infection while controlling the inflammatory response

• Viral eye infections such as herpes keratitis
• Fungal eye infections

How to Use GATIQUIN P EYE DROP (Gatifloxacin 0.3% + Prednisolone Acetate 1%)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only in the eye as advised by your doctor
• Wash your hands before using the drop
• Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and place the drop inside without touching the tip to the eye or eyelid
• Close your eyes gently for a minute after applying to help absorption
• If using other eye drops, wait at least 5-10 minutes between different drops
• Do not wear contact lenses while using this medicine unless your doctor says it is fine
• Use exactly for as long as prescribed, even if symptoms improve early

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply the missed drop as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as scheduled
• Do not apply two drops together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use
• Do not use after the expiry date or once the bottle has been opened for the duration mentioned on the label
• Keep out of reach of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
