Pyridostigmine 60mg is mainly used to treat myasthenia gravis, a long-term condition that causes muscle weakness and easy tiredness of muscles, especially those controlling eye movement, swallowing, and limb strength.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating muscle weakness caused by myasthenia gravis
• Improving muscle strength and reducing fatigue in affected muscles
• Sometimes used to reverse effects of certain muscle relaxants used during surgery, under medical supervision

HOW IT WORKS

• It blocks the breakdown of a chemical called acetylcholine, which helps nerves communicate with muscles
