Uses and Benefits of HIFENAC-P TABLET (Aceclofenac 100mg + Paracetamol 650mg)

This combination medicine is mainly used to relieve pain and swelling associated with various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions, along with fever.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Osteoarthritis and other joint pains
• Back pain and muscle pain
• Pain after injury, sprains or minor surgery
• Dental pain
• Fever accompanying pain or inflammation

HOW IT WORKS

• Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that blocks enzymes (COX) responsible for producing pain- and inflammation-causing chemicals in the body
• Paracetamol acts on the brain's pain and temperature-regulating centres to reduce pain and bring down fever
• Together, they give faster and more effective relief than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not a routine painkiller for everyday minor headaches unless advised
• Not meant for long-term daily use without medical supervision
• Not used to treat the underlying cause of arthritis or infection
• Not suitable for children unless specifically prescribed

• Unusual bruising or bleeding
• Very reduced urination or swelling suggesting kidney problems
• Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling

How to Use HIFENAC-P TABLET (Aceclofenac 100mg + Paracetamol 650mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says so
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose or for longer than advised
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it increases the risk of stomach and liver problems
• Do not combine with other paracetamol- or NSAID-containing products unless your doctor knows

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or other NSAIDs like aspirin/ibuprofen
• Have active stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding
• Have severe liver or kidney disease
• Have a history of asthma, hives or allergic reactions triggered by NSAIDs
• Are in the last trimester of pregnancy

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have a history of stomach ulcers, heart disease, high blood pressure, or kidney/liver problems
• Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
• Are elderly, as you may be more sensitive to side effects
• Drink alcohol regularly
