Ivabradine 5mg is used mainly in adults for heart-related conditions where the heart rate needs to be controlled.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• To treat chronic stable angina (chest pain) in people who cannot take or tolerate beta-blockers
• To treat certain patients with chronic heart failure and a fast heart rate

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Have a resting heart rate that is already very slow
• Have severe liver disease
• Have had a recent heart attack, severe heart failure, or unstable low blood pressure

• Are allergic to ivabradine or any of its ingredients
