WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Community-acquired pneumonia
• Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
• Severe sinusitis
• Other moderate to severe respiratory or mixed bacterial infections as decided by the doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• Cefpodoxime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that stops bacteria from building their protective cell wall, causing them to die
• Levofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that blocks enzymes bacteria need to copy their DNA, stopping them from multiplying
• Together they cover a wider range of bacteria than either medicine alone

HOW TO TAKE IT

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
