Lacosamide 100mg is mainly used to treat epilepsy, a condition in which abnormal electrical activity in the brain causes seizures.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treatment of partial-onset (focal) seizures in adults and children, either alone or along with other anti-epileptic medicines.
• Sometimes used along with other medicines to help control certain other types of seizures, as decided by your neurologist.

HOW IT WORKS

• It selectively acts on sodium channels in nerve cells, slowing down repeated firing of overactive neurons.

HOW TO TAKE IT
