This composition is mainly used to treat dryness and irritation of the eyes.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of dry eyes
• Relief of eye irritation caused by wind, dust, or screen use
• Lubrication of the eyes in people who produce insufficient tears
• Comfort after eye surgery or while using contact lenses, if advised by doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• Carboxymethylcellulose acts as an artificial tear substitute, coating the surface of the eye and holding moisture
• This helps reduce friction between the eyelid and the eye surface
• Oxychloro Complex is a mild preservative that keeps the solution free from contamination without being as irritating as some older preservatives

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used to treat eye infections

How to Use LACRIMOS-G 0.5% EYE DROP (CARBOXYMETHYLCELLULOSE 0.5% W/V + OXYCHLORO COMPLEX 0.005% W/V)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Wash your hands before using the eye drops
• Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket
• Instil the prescribed number of drops into the eye(s) as advised by your doctor
• Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to your eye or any surface
• Close your eyes gently for a minute after applying
• If you use contact lenses, remove them before applying unless your doctor says otherwise
• Wait at least 10-15 minutes if using other eye drops at the same time

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not apply extra drops to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use
