Levosalbutamol 1mg is mainly used to treat and prevent wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness caused by narrowing of the airways in the lungs.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of asthma symptoms such as wheezing and breathlessness
• Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Prevention of exercise-induced breathing difficulty
• Relief during sudden episodes of airway narrowing (bronchospasm)

HOW IT WORKS

• It relaxes the smooth muscles surrounding the airways
• This widens (dilates) the air passages, making breathing easier
• It acts on specific receptors in the lungs called beta-2 receptors
