WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis pain
• Management of acute low back pain
• Short-term relief of postoperative pain
• Reducing swelling and stiffness caused by inflammatory joint conditions

HOW IT WORKS

• Lornoxicam blocks enzymes called COX-1 and COX-2
• This reduces the production of prostaglandins, chemicals responsible for pain, swelling, and fever
• The result is reduced inflammation and pain relief within a few hours of taking the dose

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for treating infections such as bacterial or viral illness

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
