WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Controlling high blood pressure
• Reducing swelling (edema) due to heart failure, liver disease, or kidney problems
• Sometimes used along with other blood pressure medicines for better control

HOW IT WORKS

• Acts on the kidneys to increase excretion of sodium and water

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
