This medicine is mainly used for painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, and acute sprains or strains.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of muscle spasm and stiffness
• Pain due to back and neck disorders
• Pain and swelling after sprains or minor injuries
• Short-term relief of musculoskeletal pain along with muscle relaxation

HOW IT WORKS

• Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation by blocking certain body chemicals called prostaglandins
• Thiocolchicoside acts on the muscles and nerves to relax tightened or spasming muscles, easing stiffness and discomfort
• Together they relieve both the muscle spasm and the associated pain and inflammation

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for chronic long-term arthritis management alone
• Not a treatment for infections or fever caused by infections

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet or capsule with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not increase the dose or take it for longer than prescribed
• Avoid lying down immediately after taking it
• Avoid alcohol while on this medicine as it can increase the risk of stomach irritation

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
