This medicine is mainly used for the treatment of dry cough and allergic symptoms affecting the nose and throat.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Dry, irritating cough not producing mucus
• Cough associated with cold, throat irritation or allergies
• Sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes due to allergies
• Itching in the throat causing repeated coughing

HOW IT WORKS

• Levocloperastine acts on the brain's cough centre to reduce the urge to cough
• It also has a mild effect on airway muscles, helping ease irritation
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks histamine, a chemical responsible for allergy symptoms
• Together they reduce cough frequency and relieve associated allergic symptoms

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not meant for wet/productive cough with thick mucus
• It is not a treatment for bacterial or viral chest infections
• It does not treat asthma or chronic breathing disorders
• It should not be used as a general painkiller or fever reducer

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• It is usually taken as a syrup using the measuring cup provided
