WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treatment of schizophrenia in adults and adolescents
• Treatment of depressive episodes associated with bipolar I disorder (bipolar depression)
• Used alone or along with other mood-stabilising medicines as advised by your doctor

How to Use LURASID 40MG Tablets (Lurasidone 40mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Take with food (at least 350 calories) as it helps the body absorb the medicine properly
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Try to take it at the same time each day
• Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
• If you miss several doses, inform your doctor before restarting

STORAGE

• Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Keep the tablets in their original packaging until use

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
