Uses and Benefits of LUTICA CREAM (FLUTICASONE)
Fluticasone is mainly used to treat nasal allergies (allergic rhinitis) and long-term breathing conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of sneezing, runny nose, itching, and nasal congestion caused by allergies
- Long-term control of asthma symptoms such as wheezing and breathlessness
- Management of COPD symptoms as part of combination therapy
- Reducing inflammation in nasal polyps in some cases
HOW IT WORKS
- It is a corticosteroid that reduces swelling, redness, and irritation in the nose or airways

- Signs of a severe infection such as high fever that does not go away

How to Use LUTICA CREAM (FLUTICASONE)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the form given to you (nasal spray or inhaler)
- For nasal spray, blow your nose gently before use, then spray into each nostril as directed
- For inhalers, use with proper technique; ask your pharmacist to show you if unsure
- Rinse your mouth with water after using an inhaler to reduce risk of mouth infections
- Use it regularly, even if you feel well, since it works best with continued use
- Do not stop suddenly without talking to your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Keep away from moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not puncture, break, or throw the inhaler canister into fire, even when empty
