• Treatment of active pulmonary (lung) tuberculosis

HOW IT WORKS

• Pyrazinamide gets converted into its active form inside TB bacteria
• It creates an acidic environment that stops the bacteria from growing

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Do not stop the medicine early even if you feel better; complete the full course
• Take it along with other prescribed anti-TB medicines at the same time each day

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
• Try to take your doses at the same time every day to avoid missing them

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
