Mirabegron 50mg is used to treat overactive bladder, a condition causing sudden urges to urinate, frequent urination, and sometimes leakage of urine.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating symptoms of overactive bladder including urgency, frequency, and urge incontinence
• Helping the bladder hold more urine before feeling the urge to urinate
• Reducing episodes of accidental leakage caused by sudden urges

HOW IT WORKS

• Relaxes the detrusor muscle (bladder wall muscle) by stimulating beta-3 receptors
• Allows the bladder to store more urine without contracting too soon
• Reduces the frequency of urgent trips to the bathroom

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for urinary tract infections
• Not used for stress incontinence caused by physical activity or coughing

HOW TO TAKE IT
