Uses and Benefits of MOBISWIFT D 450MG TABLET (METHOXOLONE + DICLOFENAC)

This combination medicine is mainly used to treat pain, swelling and stiffness caused by musculoskeletal and joint problems.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of pain and inflammation in muscles and joints
• Management of pain after minor injuries, sprains and strains
• Relief of pain associated with arthritis and other inflammatory joint conditions
• Short-term relief of mild to moderate pain

HOW IT WORKS

• Diclofenac blocks certain body chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause pain, swelling and fever
• Methoxolone adds to the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect of the combination
• Together they help reduce pain, swelling and stiffness faster than either component alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not a cure for the underlying disease causing pain, such as arthritis
• Not to be used for severe or long-term pain without medical supervision
• Not meant for infections, fever due to infection, or as a first-line treatment for headache
• Not suitable for self-medication in children without doctor's advice

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Nausea
• Stomach upset or indigestion
• Heartburn
• Dizziness
• Headache

LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Diarrhoea or constipation
• Skin rash or itching
• Fluid retention causing mild swelling
• Ringing in the ears

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Black or bloody stools, or vomiting blood
• Severe stomach pain
• Difficulty breathing, swelling of face, lips or throat
• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
• Sudden decrease in urine output
• Chest pain or signs of heart problems
• Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling

How to Use MOBISWIFT D 450MG TABLET (METHOXOLONE + DICLOFENAC)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the dose and frequency advised
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water, preferably after food to reduce stomach irritation
• Do not crush or chew the tablet unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you to
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose or for longer than advised
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase the risk of stomach problems

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Dispose of unused or expired medicine safely, do not flush down the drain

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to diclofenac, methoxolone, or other NSAIDs
• Have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding
• Have severe heart, liver or kidney disease
• Are in the last trimester of pregnancy
• Have had asthma, hives or allergic reactions triggered by aspirin or other NSAIDs

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have a history of stomach or intestinal problems
• Have high blood pressure or heart disease
• Have kidney or liver disease
• Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
