This composition is mainly used to treat allergic rhinitis (seasonal or year-round) and to help control symptoms in people who also have mild asthma triggered by allergies.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of sneezing, runny nose, and nasal itching due to allergies
• Relief of nasal congestion caused by allergic rhinitis
• Reducing eye itching and watering linked to allergies
• Helping control allergy-triggered asthma symptoms alongside other asthma medicines

HOW IT WORKS

• Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, chemicals that cause airway inflammation and narrowing
• Desloratadine blocks histamine, a substance that causes allergy symptoms like itching and sneezing
• Together they reduce inflammation and allergic response in the nose and airways

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for treating a sudden asthma attack
• Not a substitute for a fast-acting inhaler in emergencies
• Not used for common cold or bacterial sinus infections

HOW TO TAKE IT
