This combination eye drop is prescribed to treat bacterial infections of the eye that are accompanied by inflammation, such as post-operative infections, infected corneal ulcers, or conjunctivitis with marked swelling.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Bacterial eye infections with inflammation
- Post-surgical eye infection and inflammation control
- Infected conjunctivitis or keratitis where inflammation is present
- As advised by an eye specialist after certain eye procedures
HOW IT WORKS
- Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria causing infection
- Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling
- Together they treat infection and control the inflammatory response caused by it
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Viral eye infections such as common viral conjunctivitis
- Fungal eye infections
- Plain allergic eye redness without infection
- Dry eyes or routine eye irritation without infection
- Self-use without a doctor's prescription and eye examination

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Mild burning or stinging after applying the drop

- Signs of allergic reaction like rash, itching, or difficulty breathing
- Non-healing eye ulcer or worsening infection despite treatment

How to Use MOSI D DROP (Moxifloxacin 0.5% + Dexamethasone 0.1%)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Use only in the eye, exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- Wash your hands before applying the drop
- Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and place the drop inside without touching the dropper tip to the eye or eyelid
- Close your eye gently for a minute after applying to help absorption
- If using other eye drops, wait at least 5-10 minutes between different drops
- Do not stop the course early even if symptoms improve, unless your doctor tells you to
- Do not wear contact lenses while using this medicine unless your doctor says it is fine
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply the missed drop as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as scheduled
- Do not apply extra drops to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use
- Do not use after the bottle has been opened for the period mentioned on the label, usually four weeks
- Keep out of reach of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

- Have an unrepaired corneal or scleral perforation
