Ambroxol 30mg is mainly used to treat respiratory conditions where thick mucus builds up in the airways, making breathing and coughing difficult.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Chesty cough with mucus (productive cough)
• Bronchitis and other conditions causing excess mucus
• Helping clear airways in chronic respiratory conditions
• As an add-on treatment along with other cough medicines

HOW IT WORKS

• It increases the water content of mucus, making it thinner
• Thinner mucus is easier to cough out of the lungs
• It helps improve the movement of tiny hair-like structures (cilia) that clear mucus
• This helps relieve chest congestion and makes breathing more comfortable

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used for dry cough without mucus
• It does not treat the underlying infection causing the cough
• It is not a painkiller or fever medicine

How to Use MUCOLITE TABLET (AMBROXOL 30MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually two to three times a day
• Can be taken with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow tablets with a full glass of water
• If using syrup, use the measuring cup provided, not a regular spoon
• Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine, as it helps loosen mucus better
• Do not increase the dose or take it for longer than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
