This combination medicine is mainly used to treat moderate pain and inflammation along with fever, such as after injury, surgery, dental procedures, or in muscle and joint conditions.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of moderate to severe pain
• Reducing inflammation and swelling
• Managing fever associated with pain
• Post-surgical or post-dental procedure pain
• Muscular and joint pain including sprains

HOW IT WORKS

• Lornoxicam is an NSAID that blocks enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) responsible for producing pain and inflammation-causing chemicals in the body
• Paracetamol acts on the brain's pain and temperature-regulating centres to reduce pain and fever
• Together they give faster and more effective relief than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Long-term or chronic pain management without medical supervision
• Treating the underlying cause of infection or disease
• Self-medication for unexplained or persistent pain
• Use as a first-line medicine for mild headache or minor discomfort where paracetamol alone is enough

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Black or bloody stools, or vomiting blood (signs of stomach bleeding)
• Severe stomach pain
• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
• Difficulty breathing, swelling of face/lips/throat (allergic reaction)
• Chest pain or sudden weakness (possible heart-related event)
• Unusual bruising or bleeding
• Severe skin reaction with blisters or peeling

How to Use NEUCAM-P TABLET (LORNOXICAM 8 MG + PARACETAMOL 325 MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not increase the dose or take it more often than prescribed
• Avoid taking other paracetamol or NSAID-containing medicines together unless your doctor allows it
• Do not take on an empty stomach
• Complete the course as advised; do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to lornoxicam, paracetamol, or other NSAIDs
• Have active stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding
• Have severe liver or kidney disease
• Have severe heart failure
• Are in the last trimester of pregnancy
• Have a history of asthma, hives, or allergic reactions triggered by NSAIDs/aspirin
