This composition is mainly prescribed to treat infection caused by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria, which is linked to stomach and duodenal ulcers.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Eradication of H. pylori bacteria in the stomach
• Treatment and prevention of relapse of peptic and duodenal ulcers caused by H. pylori
• Used alongside acid-reducing treatment for ulcer healing

HOW IT WORKS

• Clarithromycin and Amoxicillin are antibiotics that stop the bacteria from growing and kill them
• Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach
• Lower acid levels help the antibiotics work better and allow the ulcer to heal

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for ordinary acidity, gas or indigestion without confirmed H. pylori infection
• Not effective against viral infections like cold or flu

How to Use NEXPRO HP KIT (Clarithromycin 500mg + Esomeprazole 40mg + Amoxicillin 750mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually twice a day for a fixed number of days
• Swallow the tablet/capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take at the same time each day, preferably before meals as directed
• Complete the full course even if you feel better before finishing it, to prevent antibiotic resistance
• Avoid alcohol during the treatment course

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat, light and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Do not store leftover medicine for future use without doctor's advice

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to Clarithromycin, Esomeprazole, Amoxicillin, penicillin or other similar antibiotics
• Have a history of liver disease caused by these antibiotics before
• Are taking certain medicines that interact seriously, such as some cholesterol or migraine drugs, unless approved by your doctor

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have kidney or liver disease
