WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of pain and swelling in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis
• Management of pain after injuries, sprains, or surgery
• Relief of dental pain
• Reduction of fever accompanying pain

HOW IT WORKS

• Aceclofenac blocks enzymes (COX) that produce prostaglandins, chemicals responsible for pain, swelling, and inflammation
• Paracetamol acts on the brain's pain and temperature-regulating centers to reduce pain and fever
• Together they provide stronger pain relief than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for long-term prevention of heart disease or blood clots
• Not a treatment for infections, so it will not cure the underlying cause of fever if it's due to infection
• Not recommended for chronic daily use without medical supervision
• Not suitable for treating stomach ulcers or bleeding disorders

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose or for longer than advised
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it increases risk of stomach and liver problems
• Do not take other paracetamol or NSAID-containing products alongside this medicine unless your doctor says so

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
