This combination is mainly used to treat infectious diarrhoea, dysentery, and certain vaginal infections caused by mixed bacterial and protozoal organisms.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Bacterial and amoebic diarrhoea
• Dysentery caused by mixed infections
• Vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis or trichomoniasis
• Certain gastrointestinal infections needing dual antimicrobial action

HOW IT WORKS

• Norfloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that kills bacteria by blocking enzymes needed for their DNA replication
• Tinidazole acts against protozoa and anaerobic bacteria by damaging their genetic material
• Lactic Acid helps restore normal acidic pH in the vagina, supporting healthy bacterial balance

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Viral infections such as common cold or flu
• Fungal infections like candidiasis
• Simple constipation-related discomfort

How to Use NORFLOX TZ TABLET (Norfloxacin 400mg + Tinidazole 600mg + Lactic Acid)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow tablets with a full glass of water
• If using a vaginal preparation, follow the applicator instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist
• Complete the full course even if you feel better early
• Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 24-48 hours after finishing

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
