Uses and Benefits of NULOC 20MG TABLET (ESOMEPRAZOLE 20MG)

Esomeprazole 20mg is mainly used to treat conditions caused by excess stomach acid.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Heartburn and acid regurgitation
• Stomach and duodenal ulcers
• Prevention of ulcers caused by long-term use of pain-relief medicines (NSAIDs)
• Along with antibiotics to treat H. pylori infection
• Conditions where the stomach makes too much acid (like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome)

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks the acid pump in the stomach lining
• Reduces the amount of acid produced
• Helps heal irritation and ulcers caused by acid
• Relieves symptoms like burning sensation and discomfort

How to Use NULOC 20MG TABLET (ESOMEPRAZOLE 20MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken once daily, at least one hour before a meal
• Swallow the tablet or capsule whole with water; do not chew or crush unless your doctor says it is safe to do so
• Try to take it at the same time every day
• Continue for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
