Uses and Benefits of OLOREE EYE DROP (OLOPATADINE)
Olopatadine is used to treat allergic conditions affecting the eyes and nose caused by triggers like pollen, dust, or pet dander.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of itchy, red, watery eyes due to allergic conjunctivitis
- Relief of sneezing, runny nose, and nasal itching due to allergic rhinitis
- Seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms
HOW IT WORKS
- It blocks histamine, a chemical released by the body during an allergic reaction
- It also stabilises mast cells, reducing further release of allergy-causing chemicals
- This reduces itching, swelling, and redness in the eyes or nose
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Bacterial or viral eye infections
- Common cold not caused by allergy
- Glaucoma or other eye pressure problems
- Sinus infections not related to allergy

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Mild burning or stinging in the eye after applying drops
- Headache
- Dry eyes or dry nose
- Nasal irritation or bitter taste (with nasal spray)

- Nosebleeds (with nasal spray)
- Sneezing or nasal dryness

How to Use OLOREE EYE DROP (OLOPATADINE)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Use only as prescribed by your doctor, in the eye or nose as directed
- Wash your hands before use
- For eye drops, tilt your head back and place the drop inside the lower eyelid without touching the tip to your eye
- For nasal spray, blow your nose gently before use and follow the spray instructions on the pack
- Do not touch the applicator tip to any surface to avoid contamination
- If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using eye drops and wait as advised before reinserting
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Use it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not use double the amount to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed after use
- Do not share your eye drops or nasal spray with others
- Discard the bottle after the period mentioned on the pack once opened
- Keep out of reach of children
