This combination medicine is mainly used to treat acid reflux, indigestion and related digestive discomfort caused by excess stomach acid combined with slow stomach movement.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Heartburn and acid regurgitation
• Functional dyspepsia (indigestion)
• Bloating, fullness and discomfort after meals
• Nausea and vomiting linked to slow stomach emptying

HOW IT WORKS

• Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid the stomach produces
• Itopride is a prokinetic that helps the stomach muscles contract better, speeding up emptying of food
• Together they reduce acid-related symptoms and improve digestion

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily before a meal
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it
• Take it at the same time each day for best results
• Do not increase the dose or stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better
• Continue for the full duration advised by your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
