Gabapentin 450mg is mainly prescribed for nerve-related pain and epilepsy (seizures).

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Nerve pain caused by diabetes (diabetic neuropathy)
• Nerve pain after shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia)
• As an add-on treatment for certain types of epilepsy/seizures
• Some other chronic nerve pain conditions, as advised by your doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• It acts on the nervous system to reduce abnormal electrical activity in nerves

How to Use PENTANERV 450MG SR TABLET (Gabapentin 450mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a full glass of water
• Can be taken with or without food
• Swallow the tablet/capsule whole; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says it is fine
• Take it at the same times each day to maintain steady levels in the body
• Do not stop taking it suddenly, even if you feel better, as this can trigger withdrawal effects or seizures
