This combination medicine is mainly prescribed for the management of chronic nerve pain (neuropathic pain), including diabetic nerve pain, and sometimes for pain associated with fibromyalgia.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Nerve pain caused by diabetes (diabetic peripheral neuropathy)
- Chronic nerve pain from other causes, as assessed by your doctor

HOW IT WORKS

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a painkiller for common headaches, fever, or short-term muscle pain
- It is not meant for acute injuries or sudden mild pain
- It should not be self-started for anxiety or depression without medical advice, even though duloxetine is also used for these conditions separately
