This medicine is commonly prescribed for cough with mucus that occurs along with narrowing of airways, such as in bronchitis, chronic obstructive airway disease and asthmatic cough.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Cough with thick mucus that is difficult to clear
- Breathing difficulty caused by airway narrowing along with cough
- Chest congestion associated with bronchitis or similar conditions
HOW IT WORKS
- Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus so it can be coughed out more easily
- Guaifenesin increases fluid in the airways, making mucus less thick and sticky
- Terbutaline relaxes the muscles around the airways, widening them and easing breathing

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
