WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Schizophrenia
• Bipolar disorder (episodes of mania and depression)
• Major depressive disorder, as an add-on treatment along with antidepressants

HOW IT WORKS

• It acts on certain chemical messengers (like dopamine and serotonin) in the brain
• This helps reduce symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, extreme mood swings, and agitation
• It also helps stabilise mood and improve sleep and concentration over time

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day

• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says so
• Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better
