Uses and Benefits of RAPISONE D SR (EPERISONE (150MG) + DICLOFENAC (100MG))
This combination is mainly used to relieve pain and stiffness caused by muscle spasms linked to musculoskeletal disorders.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Muscle spasm related to spine disorders such as low back pain and neck pain
- Painful muscle stiffness restricting movement
- Post-injury or post-surgical muscle spasm associated with pain
HOW IT WORKS
- Eperisone acts on the central nervous system to relax tightened skeletal muscles and improve blood flow
- Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation by blocking certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins)
- Together they relieve both the muscle tightness and the associated pain
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for general fever or common cold
- Not a treatment for infections
- Not meant for long-term daily use without medical supervision
- Not suitable for chronic pain management without doctor evaluation

- Severe skin reaction with blisters or peeling
- Reduced urine output or swelling in legs

How to Use RAPISONE D SR (EPERISONE (150MG) + DICLOFENAC (100MG))
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after meals to reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not increase the dose or take it for longer than prescribed
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase the risk of stomach irritation
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your normal schedule
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to eperisone, diclofenac, or other NSAIDs
- Have a history of stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding

- Have had an asthma attack, hives, or allergic reaction triggered by aspirin or other NSAIDs
