Uses and Benefits of RAZEL GOLD CAPSULE (ROSUVASTATIN 10MG + ASPIRIN 75MG + CLOPIDOGREL 75MG)

This combination is mainly used to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular problems in people with high cholesterol and a high risk of blood clots.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Preventing heart attack and stroke in people at high risk
• Managing patients after a heart attack, stroke, or stent placement
• Lowering high cholesterol (LDL) levels along with clot prevention

HOW IT WORKS

• Rosuvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver, lowering LDL (bad cholesterol) and slightly raising HDL (good cholesterol)
• Aspirin thins the blood by stopping platelets from sticking together
• Clopidogrel also stops platelets from clumping, using a different pathway, giving stronger clot protection when combined with Aspirin

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for treating an acute, ongoing heart attack or stroke
• Not a painkiller or fever medicine, despite containing Aspirin
• Not used for general cholesterol control without cardiovascular risk

• Unusual tiredness with pale skin (signs of blood disorder)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Can be taken with or without food, but be consistent with your chosen time
• Do not stop this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, especially if you have a stent
• Continue taking it even if you feel well, as it works silently to prevent clots and control cholesterol

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to Rosuvastatin, Aspirin, Clopidogrel, or any other NSAID

• Have severe liver disease
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless specifically advised by your doctor
• Are below 18 years of age
