HOW IT WORKS

• Losartan blocks a hormone called angiotensin II, relaxing and widening blood vessels
• Atenolol is a beta-blocker that slows the heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions
• Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps the kidneys remove excess salt and water, reducing blood volume
• Together these three actions lower blood pressure more effectively than a single medicine

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
• Take at the same time each day to maintain steady levels in the body
• Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, especially the atenolol component, without consulting your doctor
• Continue taking it even if you feel well, as blood pressure control needs regular use

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
