Uses and Benefits of ROLIFLO OD 2MG CAPSULE (TAMSULOSIN + TOLTERODINE)

This composition is mainly used to treat the urinary symptoms that occur along with an enlarged prostate gland in men, including difficulty in passing urine and an overactive bladder.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of urinary hesitancy, weak stream, and incomplete emptying due to enlarged prostate
• Reducing urinary urgency, frequency, and night-time urination
• Managing symptoms of overactive bladder occurring alongside prostate enlargement

HOW IT WORKS

• Tamsulosin blocks alpha-1 receptors in the prostate and bladder neck, relaxing the muscles so urine flows more easily
• Tolterodine blocks certain receptors in the bladder muscle, reducing involuntary contractions that cause urgency and frequency
• Together they improve both urine flow and bladder control

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It does not shrink the prostate or cure prostate enlargement
• It is not used to treat urinary tract infections

How to Use ROLIFLO OD 2MG CAPSULE (TAMSULOSIN + TOLTERODINE)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet or capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew, especially if it is an extended-release form
• Take at the same time each day, generally after a meal, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Continue taking it regularly even if you feel better; do not stop without consulting your doctor
• Avoid standing up quickly after taking the dose, as it may cause dizziness

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to tamsulosin, tolterodine, or any other ingredient in the product
• Have untreated narrow-angle glaucoma
• Have severe urinary retention or gastric retention
• Have severe liver or kidney disease (unless your doctor decides it is safe)
• Are a woman or a child, as this medicine is meant for adult men

• Have low blood pressure or a history of fainting
