This combination medicine is mainly used to treat allergic conditions affecting the nose and airways.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itching, watery eyes)
• Seasonal and year-round nasal allergy symptoms
• Allergy symptoms occurring along with mild asthma
• Skin allergy symptoms like itching or hives in some cases

HOW IT WORKS

• Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks histamine, a chemical released during an allergic reaction, reducing sneezing, itching and runny nose
• Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, chemicals that cause airway swelling and narrowing, helping ease breathing-related allergy symptoms
• Together they act on two different allergy pathways for better symptom control

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for treating an acute asthma attack
• Not a replacement for inhalers prescribed for asthma control
• Not used for bacterial or viral infections such as common cold caused by infection
• Not recommended for immediate relief of severe breathing difficulty

• Fast or irregular heartbeat

How to Use ROMILAST L 10MG TABLET (LEVOCETIRIZINE + MONTYLUCAST)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily in the evening
• Can be taken with or without food
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Continue taking it for the full duration advised, even if symptoms improve
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep in the original strip or container until ready to use
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
