This medicine is mainly used to treat problems related to weak or poorly functioning blood vessels, especially veins.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Chronic venous insufficiency (heavy, tired, aching legs)
• Varicose veins and related swelling
• Haemorrhoids (piles) symptoms like pain, itching, and bleeding
• Swelling (oedema) in the legs due to poor venous return
• Capillary fragility related disorders such as easy bruising or bleeding tendencies in small blood vessels

HOW IT WORKS

• Calcium Dobesilate strengthens capillary walls and reduces their permeability, lowering swelling and leakage
• It also reduces blood platelet clumping and improves blood flow through small vessels
• Troxerutin improves the tone and strength of veins and capillaries
• Together they reduce inflammation, swelling, and discomfort caused by weak vein walls

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used to treat blood clots (deep vein thrombosis) or major vascular blockages
• Not a painkiller for general body pain
• Not used to treat infections
• Not a substitute for surgical treatment of severe varicose veins or advanced piles

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• It is usually taken by mouth, with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take it at the same time(s) each day for best results
• Continue for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
