This combination medicine is mainly used to treat cough with thick mucus along with mild breathing difficulty or wheeze, commonly seen in bronchitis, asthma-related cough and other respiratory tract infections.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Cough with mucus (productive cough)
- Cough associated with wheezing or mild breathlessness
- Symptomatic relief in bronchitis and other chest infections
HOW IT WORKS
- Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out
- Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps clear mucus from airways
- Menthol gives a cooling, soothing effect on the throat and helps ease irritation
- Terbutaline relaxes the muscles around the airways, helping open them up and ease breathing
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Dry cough without mucus
- Cough due to allergies alone, without chest congestion
- Long-term control of asthma
- Cold or flu symptoms other than cough
- Cough in children unless specifically advised by a doctor

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take this syrup by mouth, exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- Use the measuring cup or spoon provided; do not use a regular kitchen spoon
- Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
- Shake the bottle well before use if instructed on the label
- Drink plenty of water to help loosen mucus further
- Do not take more than the prescribed amount or for longer than advised
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the bottle tightly closed
