Ramipril 5mg is mainly used to manage high blood pressure and related heart conditions.

• Reducing risk of heart attack, stroke, or death in people at high risk of heart disease

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are pregnant or planning pregnancy

• Have had swelling reactions (angioedema) to ACE inhibitors before
• Are on dialysis or have severe kidney artery narrowing
• Are taking certain diabetes medicines called aliskiren-containing products with kidney impairment
