Tizanidine is mainly used to treat muscle spasticity and spasms.

• Managing spasticity caused by multiple sclerosis
• Managing spasticity due to spinal cord injury or stroke
• Helping improve comfort and movement in tight, stiff muscles

HOW IT WORKS

• Acts on the brain and spinal cord to calm overactive nerve signals to muscles
• Reduces the tightness and involuntary contraction of muscles
• Does not act as a painkiller directly, but eases pain caused by muscle tightness

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for general body pain unrelated to muscle spasm

HOW TO TAKE IT

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
